James E. Stahl

James E. "Hippy" Stahl, 69 of Foye Road, Sunbury, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, at his home.

Jim was born on June 1, 1954, in Lewisburg a son of the late Kenneth C. and Minnie P. (Chappel) Stahl.

He was married to the former Nora Leffler who preceded him in death.

He was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School and later served in the National Guard.  He retired after many years of service as a truck driver for Ritz-Craft Corp., Mifflinburg.

Jim is survived by his son, Jeff Stahl of Mifflinburg; two daughters, Holly Stahl of Middleburg, Rose Michael of Sunbury; five grandchildren, Bryce, Blaze, Alexa, Colton and Austin; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Sam and Mim Stahl, Pete Stahl, Rich and Kay Stahl, Joe and Rose Stahl, Wayne and Carol Stahl; one sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Keith Ditty.

He was preceded in death by, two brothers, Bill and Carl Stahl and one sister, Dot Snyder.

Arrangements are by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
