Jack M. Donato Obituary
Jack M. Donato Sr., 74, a resident of the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024.
Jack was born July 24, 1950, in Cuba, a son of the late Meliton and Ruth Ann (Anderson) Donato.
For many years he was devoted to the Prison Pen Pals News.
He is survived by his daughter, Tanya Donato of Selinsgrove; son and daughter-in-law, Jack M. Jr. and Kathryn L. Donato of Sunbury; and his five grandchildren, Gabriella, Joseph, Jack III, Wyatt and Olivia.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Patricia; and his former wife, Debra Anne Donato.
A viewing will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, PA 17801, followed by funeral services from 3:30 to 4 p.m.
A meal to celebrate Jack's life will follow the services from 5 to 7 p.m. at Higher Hope Church, 1000 Race St., Sunbury, PA 17801.
