Hazel E. Campbell Obituary

Hazel E. Campbell, 88, of Eighth Street, Sunbury, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in her home.
Hazel was born June 26, 1936, in Little Mahanoy Township, a daughter of the late Oscar Schreffler and Emma Lahr. On March 29, 1956, she married Whittington Campbell, who preceded her in death.
She was a 1954 graduate of Sunbury High School. Hazel was a server for Tedd's Landing and various other restaurants for over 40 years.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sunbury, for over 80 years, where she also taught Sunday School for 50+ years.
Hazel enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children Steve Campbell (Lorraine), Timothy Campbell, Karen Campbell Kuebler (Brian), and Duane Campbell (Melissa), grandchildren Erin (Brian), Steve Jr. (Haley), Alison, Adam, Antonio, Dilan and Cole, great grandchildren Samson, Jacob, Breyden and Leo.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her grandson Kyle Emmanuel Kuebler.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, February 4, from 10-11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 15S 5th Street, Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Beth George officiating.
Interment will follow in Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, 5933 Rt. 225, Hunters Station.
