Guy D. "Gomez" Masser, 65, passed away suddenly on Aug. 13, 2025. He was born April 5, 1960, in Klingerstown, a son of the late Paul Masser and Joanna (Long) Masser of Lykens, who survives.
He graduated from Upper Dauphin High School in 1978.
Guy is survived by his beloved wife April (Snyder) Masser, of Sunbury. They recently celebrated 37 years of marriage.
He was the owner of several businesses with his wife, April, throughout his life and was most recently employed at Bimbo Bakeries until his retirement in 2022.
He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. You could often find him at his land, which he loved to hunt on. He was loved by everyone who knew him and was always joking around. He was a member of the Schneedaal hunting camp. He was very active for many years playing Strat with his friends. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three sisters. Peggy Shultz (Richard Blicks) of Halifax, Debra Masser of Lititiz, and Tammy Masser of Lykens; one brother, David Masser, of Fairbanks, Alaska; mother-in-law, Sandra Snyder; sisters-in-law; Tammy Toomey (Michael), of Sunbury, and Betty Reigel; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul Snyder (Jackie), of Sunbury, and Terry Snyder (Teresa), of Northumberland; and his many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Guy was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Arthur Guy Snyder; sister-in-law, Cathy Chrismer; and brothers-in-law, Jeffery Reigel and Michael Snyder.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, where funeral services will be conducted at noon with Pastor Jeff Dunkle officiating.
Burial will follow in. Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
