Gloria V. (Anderson) Weir

Gloria V. Weir, 84, of Front St. Sunbury, PA, formerly of 340 Race St., passed away at Sunbury Community Hospital on December 19, 2018.

Gloria was born in Selinsgrove on April 26, 1934, the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Berge) Anderson.
She graduated Selinsgrove HS the class of 1952. She was employed at Wilson Manufacturing in Sunbury for 37 years. She was a member of the Otterbein UM Church in Sunbury.

Gloria is survived by her children and their spouses, son Kenneth and Diane Weir of Shamokin Dam, daughter Robin K. and Richard C. Bingaman, Jr. of Sunbury, son Kyle Weir of Sunbury, six grandchildren: Aaron, Ben, Kerri, Ryan, Kyle, and Amber, six great grandchildren: Jack, Hayden, Kiera, Chelsea, Bryce, and Mykenzie, sisters Shirley Hoffman of Selinsgrove, Millie Lewis of Selinsgrove, brother Ronald Anderson of Kratzerville, grandchildren and grand sons-in-laws, and many neices and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, son Frank L. Weir, who passed December 28, 2004, and sisters: Alice Kline, Cora Anderson and Dorothy Deday.

Friends and family are welcome to the service at Otterbein United Methodist Churchon Friday, December 28, 2018. Viewing from 10 am to 11 am, followed by the funeral service with Rev. Leslie Halchak officiating. Interment will follow at the Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Otterbein United Methodist Church 4th and Vine Sts., Sunbury, PA 17801.
