Northumberland - George D. Clement, 90, of Old Danville Highway, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, in Brookdale Grayson View, Selinsgrove where he had been a resident.
George was born March 17, 1934, in Sunbury, a son of the late Lloyd and Carrie (Duttry) Clement. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Clement in 2023.
He was a graduate of Sunbury High School.
George was a machinist for TRW for over 50 years.
He was a member of various local social organizations.
George enjoyed fishing, pool, woodworking, and traveling. He was an overall handyman and could fix almost anything.
He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law Jeffrey and Debra Clement, Craig and Patty Clement, and Randy Clement, grandchildren Sara Jane, and Zach (Margo), and six great grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by brothers Neal, Carl, Paul and Gene, sister Donna, and his first wife Carolyn Clement.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 17, from 10:00-11:00am at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00am.
A graveside service will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
