Sunbury- Frederick B. "Fred" Culp, 59 of Carter Road, passed away, Tuesday, October 29, 2024 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Fred was born April 26, 1965 in Sunbury, a son of the late Luther B. Culp Sr. and Anna E. (Bollinger) Culp.  On November 25, 1994 he married Michele Mutschler, who survives.

He was a 1983 graduate of Shikellamy High School.

Fred was a cook for various restaurants.

He enjoyed cooking, and baking Christmas cookies for his family and friends.  He also enjoyed his dogs, listening to music and the Pittsburgh Steelers but his greatest joy was spending time around the campfire with his family.

In addition to his wife of 30 years he is survived by sons Bryan Culp (Jannelle), Shawn Culp (Sierra), daughter Brianna Culp (Zach), brothers Luther Jr., Scott, and Bill Culp, sister LuAnn DeSantis and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Monday, November 4, from 10-11am at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury where the funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Pastor Clair Shaffer officiating.

Friends and family are encouraged to dress casually for the service and are invited to represent their favorite football team.
