Fern E. Fausey Obituary

Fern E. Fausey, 87, of Diner Road, Northumberland, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, at Nottingham Village.

Fern was born May 30, 1937, in Tazewell, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Roy Lee and Emma Mae (Ball) DeBusk. On Aug. 6, 1968, she married Thomas B. Fausey, who survives.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sunbury.

Fern was a cook for the American Legion Post 201 and the Sunbury Social Club.

She enjoyed crocheting and crafting and was well known for her Southern cooking.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Sheila Radel (Bob), Debbie Marotto, Kim Bussy (Bob); grandchildren, Rachel, Jonathan, Lindsay, Derek, and Steven; great-grandchildren, Reid, Jazlyn, Jada, Karleigh, Lyle, Waylon and Adelaide.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Juanita Fee; and grandson, David Radel.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Beth George officiating.

Interment will follow in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
