Elmer William Danley Sr., born on February 3, 1948, passed away peacefully at home with his wife and loving family by his side on March 27, 2026. He was a man of old school class, known for his integrity, strength, and deep love for his family. Elmer proudly served in the United States Air Force, dedicating his early years to serving and protecting his country. He was also a lifetime member of the Eagles, Rescue Hose Company, Point Township Fire Company, and a member of Sunbury Masonic Lodge 22 for 41 years. He was also the proud founder of Danley's Hotel and Dan's Disposal, two successful businesses that reflected his hard work and dedication.
Elmer is survived by his beloved wife, Debra, of 48 years, his children Stefanie Danley (her spouse Stacy), Jennifer Bashore (her spouse Jason), Elmer Jr., Amy Drumheller (her spouse Ricky), and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also a cherished brother to Ernest of Mount Pleasant Mills, Ben of Texas, Grace Rebuck of Paxinos and Zean Adams of Down City. Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Danley and Grace Croffet, his brothers Carl and Ted Danley. As well as his daughters Trisha Korinchak and Tammy Sciascia of Sunbury, and his grandchildren Todd Jr. and Tatum.
