Elizabeth (Liz) Hine Lockcuff, 79, Northumberland

Elizabeth (Liz) Susan Hine Lockcuff, of Northumberland, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at home.  Liz was born in Sunbury on August 13, 1945, to Russel R. Hine, Jr. and Grace M. (Geise) Hine of Northumberland.  She married Phillip LaRue Lockcuff on June 27, 1970, who proceeded her in death in January 2013. 

Liz graduated from Northumberland High School in 1963. 

She was employed by the Shikellamy School District from 1980 until she retired in 2005.  While at the School District, Liz worked as an aide and secretary at Sunbury Middle School and C.W. Rice Middle School, and she ended her career as the attendance clerk at Shikellamy High School. 

She is survived by three daughters: Dawn Troup and husband Jim, Russlee Armstrong and husband Chris, and Kerri Lockcuff; seven grandchildren: Ashlee Wagner (Tyler), Tyler Inch, Caitlin Floyd (Josh), Colin Troup (Carolyn), Richard Armstrong, Daniel Armstrong, and Grace Lockcuff-Shambach; three great-grandchildren: Bryce Goodling, Orion Floyd, and Declan Floyd; one sister: Russlee Wolfe (Sam); one brother-in-law: Gary Lockcuff; two nephews: Bryan Wolfe and Chris Wolfe (Erin); one great niece: Samantha Wolfe; and one great nephew: Brady Wolfe. 

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 4pm to 6pm at Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King St., Northumberland.  Interment in Riverview Cemetery will be at a later date.
