Dorothy M. Anderson, 85, of Fifth Street, Northumberland, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born July 27, 1938, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Thomas Willard and Pearl Savana (Keffer) Dressler. She was married to Richard R. Glass and later David L. Anderson, both preceded her in death.

Dorothy was a devoted stay at home mom for many years and later a housekeeper for the Pine Barn Inn until she retired.

She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Northumberland.

Dorothy was an avid Penn State and New York Mets fan.

She is survived by son, Brian Glass; daughter, Bonny Leitzel (Keith Bingaman); stepchildren, Brett Anderson (Eva), Wayne Anderson, Brenda Steffen (Fred), Janette Blaker (Roger), and Michelle Yerger; grandchildren, Joshua Leitzel (Jennifer), Amber Keister (Jason), Adam, Benjamin, Brian Jr., and Cody Glass; great-grandchildren, Quinten, Joshua Jr. (Ellie), Kaitlynn, Abigail and Justice; great-great-grandchild, MaKya Jakson; sister, Donna Long, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by son, Richard Glass II; grandson, Richard Glass III; and sisters, Ida Zerbe and Shirley Conrad.

Friends and family may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert Tobias officiating.

Interment will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
