Sunbury - Doris Ann Conrad, 78, of Wolverton Street, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
>
> Doris was born August 19, 1946, in Sunbury, the youngest daughter, of 14 children, to the late Wilbert and Susanna (Lenker) Conrad.
>
> She was a 1964 graduate of Mahonoy Joint High School.
>
> Doris worked most of her adult career at the Danville and Sunbury Textile Mills.
>
> She loved country music and went on many trips to watch her favorite country artists perform.  She was a wonderful aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
>
> Doris is survived by two sisters Helen Reitz of Sunbury, Shirley Ward of Nottingham Village, two brothers and one sister-in-law Stanley and Dorothy Conrad of Sunbury and Jerry Conrad of York, two sisters-in-law Lena and Margaret Conrad, 33 nieces and nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

> She was preceded in death by six brothers Dennis Sr., Ralph, George, David, Lee and Steven Sr. Conrad and three sisters, Elsie Cross, Viola Mangle and June Benner, two nieces and two great nephews.
>
> Doris was an avid gardener and loved cats.
>
> In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris's memory may be made to her church the United Lutheran Church flower fund, 167 Seven Points Rd, Sunbury PA   17801, or to Candy Snyder, who was very active with Doris in helping spay and neuter the cats in the area she lived.  Please contact Sharon Swanger at 717-580-3253 for Candy's address.

> A viewing will be held Saturday, March 1, from 10:00am-11:00am at the Wolf's United Lutheran Church, 167 Seven Points Road, Sunbury where the funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Andrew Weaver officiating.

> Interment will be in Wolf's United Lutheran Church Cemetery  
>
> Arrangements are by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury.
