Trevorton - Donald W. Dowell Sr., 62, of East Coal Street, passed away September 29, 2024, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Donald was born August 28, 1962, in Glasgow, KY, a son of the late Ralph P. and Barbara J. (Lile) Dowell. On December 7, 2003, he married the former Tammy Shaffer who survives.
He was a manager at Jeldwen in Ringtown from 2013 until present.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Donnie Wayne Jr., Chad, Jeffrey, Jimmy and Tryston, daughters, Jessica, Jeannie, Jamie and Mykenzie, grandchildren Landon, Izaiah, Peytin, Gracie, Cheyenne, Jessa, Jayden, Jiovanni, Juliana, Grayson, Evalani, Naleah, Ember, Jakoa, plus two others on the way, brother Joey Dowell and sister Sherry Ervin.
He was preceded in death by brother Ronnie Dowell.
A viewing will be held Thursday from 5:00-6:30pm at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at 6:30pm.
