Debra A. Shoop

Northumberland - Debra A. Shoop, 64, passed away February 12, 2019 at her home. 

She was born July 8, 1954 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Dewey Williams Sr. and Emma (Lenker) Williams.  She married Forrest W. Shoop Jr. April 24, 1995. 

Debra was 1972 graduate of  Shikellamy High School. She attended the Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church in Sunbury. 

She worked for Valu City in Hummels Wharf for 27 years and retired from K-Mart in Shamokin Dam after 7.5 years.

Debra enjoyed playing Bingo but she most enjoyed spending it around family and friends.  

In addition to her husband she is survived by her two sons, Todd J. Williams of Sunbury and Chester Ernest Jr. of Corpis Christi, TX, three grandchildren Crisandra, Aaliyah and Jayden, two brothers Dewey Williams Jr. of Sunbury, and Terry Williams of Northumberland, two sisters Jessie Newman and Bonnie Swank both of Sunbury.

She was preceded in death by one daughter Traci Jo Ernest and brothers Jack and Keith Williams and Joey, in infancy.

Friends and family may visit from noon to 1:00pm Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church, 967 Mile Hill Road, Sunbury where a memorial service will follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Joshua Gibson officiating.
