Deanna Kay (Deanie) Moist, 82, passed away peacefully at her home in Lewisburg on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025. There will be a visitation at the Zweier Funeral Home at 157 Chestnut St. in Sunbury beginning at 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12. The funeral service will follow at 11.

Deanna was born on Jan. 22, 1943, on the Isle of Que, Selinsgrove. Deanna was the daughter of Jack Bredbenner Moist and Virginia Emma Moist, nee Wagner. Deanna is survived by her sister and her sister’s husband, Jerrianne and Michael A. Hunsinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two brothers, Hanni Lorraine, Carl Lynn, and Bradley Allen.

Deanna had many pets over the years, whom she loved dearly and considered a part of her family.

Deanna graduated from Sunbury High School in 1961.

Deanna worked in Accounts Receivable/Payable positions in various locations over the years and retired from Lewisburg Builders Supply Company.

Deanna was a natural artist and loved making things look pretty. She enjoyed painting ceramics, sewing, cooking and music. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.

Deanna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
