Sunbury - Darlene E. Wagner, 79, of North Second Street, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 in her home.
Darlene was born February 15, 1942 in Sunbury a daughter of the late George William and Violet Mae (Miller) Straub. On November 15, 1997 she married Kenneth H. "Butch" Wagner who preceded her in death March 31, 2016.
She attended Northumberland High School.
Darlene was a nurses aide for the Mansion, Penn Lutheran Village and a private duty aide.
She attended Sunbury God's Missionary Church.
Darlene enjoyed ceramics, flower design, baking and enjoyed baking cakes for others and especially loved game time.
She is survived by her son Bradley J. Trego and companion Cindy Theys of Sunbury, her daughters and sons-in-law Kathy L. and Larry A. Kauffman of Sunbury, Sharon E. and Mike Bingaman of Kratzerville, Georgia M. Straub, Kelly J. and Jason S. Graybill of Sunbury, grandchildren Russell Jr., Jeremy, Robert, Jessica, Jamie, Diana, Brittany, Chettie, Chance, Kyle, Kendra, Sidney and Margo great grandchildren Karysha, Brittany, Michael Jr., Morgan, Rydder, Hailie, Jayden, Hunter, Kylie, Gabe, Kohin, Kygan, Gaige and Peighton, great great grandchildren Landon, Ava, Khloe, and Josiyah, brother and one sister-in-law Darvin and Kay Straub of Northumberland and sister Dawn Jenkins of Sunbury.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son Chester A. Trego, grandson Michael Lee Moyer and great grandson Kaleb Moyer.
Friends and family may visit Saturday from 10:00am - 11:00am at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland where the funeral service will be held at 11:00am with Rev. Ryan Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland.
