Daniel C. Vankirk Obituary
Northumberland - Daniel C. Vankirk, 88, of Epler Road passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at his home.
Daniel was born February 20,1936, in Northumberland, a son of the late Charles and Harriet (Benfer) Vankirk. On December 21, 1965, he married Patricia Vankirk who preceded him death last year.
He was a member of the Northumberland class of 1954. He was a lifelong farmer employed by Epler Farms in Northumberland.
Daniel was also a mechanic and enjoyed tractor pulls.
He is survived by his daughter Patsy Vankirk, brother and sister-in-law George and Frances Vankirk, sister Dorothy M. Szeder and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his brothers Paul and Donald Vankirk.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 24, at 10:00am, at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland where the funeral service will follow at 11:00am.
Interment will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
