Daniel T. Hojnacki, 67, of Masser Street, Sunbury, passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025, in his home.
Daniel was born Jan. 29, 1957, in Shamokin, a son of the late Stanley J. and Florence (Campomizzi) Hojnacki. On June 3, 1978, he married Christal L. (Pyers) Hojnacki.
He was graduate of Lourdes Regional School.
Daniel was a weaver for Sunbury Textile Mill in Sunbury for over 35 years.
He was a talented musician, and was in several local bands, including the Danville Uke Benders.
In addition to music, Daniel enjoyed fishing, golf and vacationing at the beach in Ocean City, Md., especially with his grandsons.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Jennifer Cooper; grandsons, Dylan and Aaron; brother, Stanley Hojnacki; and sister, Barbara Hojnacki.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29 at Saint Monica Catholic Church, 109 Market St., Sunbury where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jerome Kleponis officiating.
Interment will follow in United Lutheran Church (Wolf's Crossroads) Cemetery, Sunbury.
In lieu of flowers donations in Daniel's memory may be made to his church, Saint Monica Catholic Church, 109 Market St., Sunbury.
Arrangements are by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
