Dale E. Murray Obituary
Dale E. Murray, 73, of Milton, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, at home.
He was born Sept. 2, 1950, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, a son of the late Shannon T. and Hester D. (Kline) Murray. He married Alice M. Aikey on April 21, 1973.
Dale graduated from Milton High School in 1969. He worked at Strick/Great Dane, Washingtonville for 27 years. He was a Boy Scout leader for Cub Pack 3607 and Troop 607, Milton.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Alice, are two sons, Russell Murray and Landon Murray, Milton; two granddaughters, Charisma Morgan, Salisbury, NC, and Adelaide Murray, Virginia Beach, Va., and many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Murray, Norma Charles, June Marconi, Richard Murray, and twin brother Donald Murray; and daughter, Patricia Aikey-Tyson.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, reading, camping, riding motorcycle, watching westerns, WWE wrestling, and NASCAR.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at the Salvation Army, 30 Center St., Milton with Lt. Evita V. Leach Colon officiating.
A burial service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
