Cynthia K. "Cindy" McKeegan, 66, of Second Street, Sunbury, passed away Saturday, July 26, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Cindy was born July 24, 1959, at Sunbury Community Hospital, a daughter of the late Harold and Geraldine (Frye) Hoagland.
She was a 1978 graduate of Shikellamy High School.
Cindy was a Navy Veteran.
She is survived by her sister Georgie Hoagland, her brothers and sisters-in-law Britt and René Hoagland and Bradley and Lani Hoagland, her nieces and nephews which were very special to her Jessica, Jennifer, Amy, James, Laticia, Brittany, Zachary, Jayme and Bradley, 22 great-nieces and nephews and her great-nephew Landon was a child of her heart.
Cindy was preceded in death by her first husband Nicholas Rivara and beloved dog Flindy Sue.
She was formerly married to Hugh McKeegan.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury, where the memorial service will follow at 10:00am with Father Fred Wangwe officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.

Cindy was very thankful for the services provided by LIFE Geisinger of Kulpmont and their care and kindness.
