Milton - Curtis C. Bennage, 88 passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Watsontown Nursing and Rehab.
He was born January 30, 1938, in Lewisburg a son of the late Slifer R. and Arietta V. (Mann) Bennage. He married the former Arlene R. Shipley who survives.
He attended Lewisburg Schools. He enlisted in the Marines on December 30, 1958, and was honorably discharged on December 29, 1961.
Mr. Bennage was employed for many years with R.W. Bird Trucking and later retired from SEDA-COG.
He had a great talent in gunsmithing and enjoyed building Kentucky rifles.
In addition to his wife, Curtis is survived by; one daughter and son-in-law, Crystal A. and Bob Walter of Mifflinburg, two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve C. and Andrea Bennage of Picture Rocks, Ricky T. and Kim Bennage of Milton, his seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and his sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Tom Wagner of Milton.
He was preceded in death by; two brothers, William and Robert Bennage and four sisters, Shirley Troup, Judy Kline, Rosella Predix and Donna Gray.
At his request there will be no funeral services.
Arrangements are by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury.
