Cory E Hoover Obituary
Cory E. Hoover, 44, of N Eleventh Street, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at his home.
Cory was born in Sunbury a son of the late Charles E. Hoover and Ruth E. (Briner) Hoover.
He was a graduate of Shikellamy High School and received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Central Penn College.
Cory worked for Weis Markets and the Surplus Outlet.
He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Sunbury and a life member of the Goodwill Fire Company.
Cory was an avid sports fan he enjoyed watching Nascar, WWE the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers, as well as the Atlanta Braves.
In addition to his mother Cory is survived by his stepfather Joseph Loveless and five brothers Randall, Edward, Daniel, Kenneth and Chris Hoover.
Friends and family may visit from 10:00am - 11:00am Thursday, January 11, at Faith United Methodist Church, 203 Arch Street, Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00am with Pastor Ronald Troup officiating.
Interment will follow in Pomfret Manor Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury.
