Paxinos - Charles A. Wolf, 88, of Pine Hill Road, passed away July 23, 2024 in Shamokin Geisinger Medical Center.

 

Charles was born June 3, 1936 in Irish Valley, a son of the late Solomon and Anna (Wynn) Wolf.  In 1979, he married Virginia Baker who preceded him in death in 2020.

 

He worked for Sunbury Textile Mill for over 50 years and during those years and after he retired, he continued to do his farming and raising cattle.

 

Charles enjoyed watching NASCAR racing all football teams.  He had a great love for his tractors, gardening and his flowers.  He loved spending time with his daughter and his dog Daffodil.

 

He is survived by his daughter Julie Ann Wolf.

 

Charles was preceded in death by his brothers Ralph, Harvey, and Walter Wolf, and his sister Ethel Houser.

 

Charles will be sadly missed by his daughter Julie and good friends Tammy and Wayne Zeigler and family, friends Betty Bollinger, Floyd Drayton and Thelma Williams.

 

A viewing will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 9:30-10:30am at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30am.

 

Interment will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
