Charles “Charlie” M. Weiser, 85, of Sunbury, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025.
Charlie graduated from Milton High School. He served honorably in the United States Navy and made 27 Atlantic and 6 Pacific crossings. Charlie had many fond memories of his Naval Service and was most proud of transporting Elvis Presley to Europe.
Charlie was married to Janet Weiser (nee Whalen). And, was beloved by his long time companion Virginia Reynolds.
Charlie was a dedicated lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge and Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
Charlie loved his time farming and when not farming he worked in the diesel repair shops at Weis, Branch Trucking and Yellow Freight.
Charlie loved to spend time with his family and always cherished his time in the woods hunting.
Charlie was a dedicated father to Randy (Deb), Wendy (Larry) and Adam (Briana). He was a loving grandfather to Amber, Andrew, Brittney (Kelsey), Chelsea (Ryan), Cheyenne (Sean), Dillon (Reagan), Kinnley, Madison, Matthew, Nathan (Mandy) and great-grandfather to Bailey, Bryce, Grayson, Harlow, Issac, McKenzie, Riley and Reece.
Arrangements are being handled by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury 17801.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a family visitation at Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. A Masonic service will begin at 11 a.m. with funeral services to follow with Rev. Rodney Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
