Selinsgrove - Carl S. Adams, 100, formerly of Northumberland, passed away September 4, 2024 at Brookdale Grayson View, where he had been a current resident.

Carl was born August 18, 1924, a son of the late Paul S. and Lucille E. Adams.  He was married to Mary C. Adams who preceded him in death in 2016.

Carl was a 1942 graduate of Sunbury High School.

He proudly served in the Army from 1943-1946.

Carl was an accountant for American Home Foods for forty years.

He was also a faithful and very devoted member of the Sunbury Bible Church in Northumberland.

Carl is survived by his son William E. Dieck Jr., daughter Mary A. Hess, daughter-in-law Jane E. Adams, son-in-law David A. Shaffer, grandchildren Jason, Chris, Valerie and Lydia, great grandchildren Serenity and Jasmine.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son Randy Adams, daughter Linda Shaffer, brother Ken Adams, and son-in-law Alan Hess.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, September 10, from 10:00am-11:00am at the Sunbury Bible Church, 135 Spruce Hollow Road, Northumberland where the funeral service will be held at 11:00am with Pastor Preston Atkinson officiating.

Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland.
