Brenda L. Snyder, 69, of Race Street, Sunbury, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at her home.
She was born April 25, 1956, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Donald and Wilhelmina (Schmidt) Snyder. Brenda was a 1974 graduate of Shikellamy High School.
Brenda enjoyed crocheting, attending concerts — especially Led Zeppelin — playing board games (with a special love for Scrabble), traveling and attending Broadway shows. Cooking and food were her favorite things.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jarrod Chasse and Crismerlyn Martinez; her daughter, Donelle Chasse; her cherished grandchildren, Lelynd, Phoebe "Storm," Kalydan, Maddyx, RivyrJayne, McKenzie, and one granddaughter on the way. She is also survived by her "adopted daughter," Jennifer Petruso.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
Brenda will be remembered for her creativity, sense of humor, and love for her family and friends.
