Sunbury - Beverly A. Renn, 76 of Sunbury Road passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at her home.

Beverly was born September 29, 1948 in Springfield, MA a daughter of the late Chester "Ted" and Betty (Snyder) Lyman. On October 3, 1970 she married James F. Renn who survives.

Following high school graduation, she attended the Texas Woman's University and later received her associates degree from Penn Technical School.  Mrs. Renn retired from the Muncy Women's Prison where she worked in Labor & Industry. Following retirement, she worked part-time at the YMCA.

She was a member of Klinesgrove United Methodist Church, Sunbury and was active in the United Methodist Women, traveling on various mission trips.

Earlier in life, Beverly was active in the Eastern Star.  She was a talented singer and was a member of the Buffalo Valley Singers choir.

She had a great love for animals including her horses, chickens and dogs and cats.  Her greatest joy came while she was traveling especially to see her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 54 years, Beverly is survived by; three sons and two daughters-in-law, James C. and Jennifer A. Renn of Grayling, MI, Jason F. and Lisa L> Renn of Tampa, FL and Justin Q. Renn of Sunbury and her grandchildren, Caleb, Evan, Jericho, Jordan, Zachary, Dylan, Ashlyn, Bronson and Zander.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Kenneth and Robert Lyman.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at the Blank Funeral home from 11:00am until noon where funeral services will follow at noon with Rev. Eric Light officiating.

Burial will follow in Klinesgrove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
