Betty L. "Wege" Strawser, 73 of Northumberland, passed away peacefully in her home Monday, June 22, 2026.
She was the daughter of Bernice Dockey Barsh.
She graduated from Shikellamy High School class of 1970.
Betty worked for Northumberland National Bank for 45 years.
Betty loved to travel, play bingo, cards and going to the casino.
Betty is survived by her sisters Kathryn (Maclean) Brown, Georgie (Steve) Wolf, and Jan Bucanelli, by close cousins Toni and Kelly, family friend Pat Keunseler and nieces and nephews, Leigh, Steven Maclean III, Casey and Bethany.
In addition to her mother she was preceeded in death by her stepfather Jerome Barsh Sr. and brother Jerome Barsh Jr.
A public viewing will be held at the Joseph W. Epler funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland, Thursday from 10:00am-11:00am where the funeral service will follow at 11:00am.
A private burial will follow in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.
