Bernard Buck Obituary

Selinsgrove – Bernard J. Buck, 75 of Oak Drive passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at the Manor at Penn Village with his daughter, Holly by his side.
He was born June 18, 1941 in Snyder County a son of the late Ernest and Margaret (George) Buck. On October 8, 1966 he married the former Sarah E. Schultz who preceded him in death on March 22, 2014.
He was employed with Valley Toyota, Selinsgrove for many years. He was of Catholic Faith.
As an avid outdoorsman, Bernard enjoyed hunting, fishing and tending his vegetable garden. His greatest joy came while spending time with his family and his beloved dogs; Noel, Maddie, Christmas and Koko.
Mr. Buck is survived by his three daughters and one son-in-law, Candy Doone and companion Rick Ricardo, Holly and Eric Querry all of Sunbury, Tinsle Betts and partner Kevin Shilo of Selinsgrove, five grandchildren, Chantel, Roman, Eric Jr., Greg and Zachary, two great-grandchildren, Jaycee and Jahleel, three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Ernest Buck of Richfield, Alfred and Gail Buck of Mifflinburg, Edward and Angela Buck of Port Trevorton, five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Teresa Gemberling of Selinsgrove, Catherine and Oran  Shafer of Marysville, Larena Reeder of Waterloo, Venessa and Robert Clouser of Mifflintown and Wanda and Russell Witmer of Eddington, ME.
In addition to his wife of 47 years Bernard was preceded in death by his son, Matthew J. Buck and two brothers-in-law, Arthur Gemberling and Dennis Reeder.
Friends and family may call from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home,. 210 King Street, Northumberland where funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday with Father ??? officiating.
Burial will follow in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury,
Contributions in Bernard’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St. Williamsport, PA 17701.
Bernard’s family asks that anyone in attendance please dress in Christmas attire to help celebrate his love for the holiday.
