Barry L. Lewis

Barry L.  Lewis - 70 of Sunbury, PA passed away Monday, March 2, 2026 at his sister's home. 

He was born Oct. 23, 1955 in Sunbury a son of the late Edward L. Lewis and Nancy L.  (Bower) Lewis.

Barry served his country in the Army from 1975-1985.

He was employed at Lewisburg Penitentiary and also at R.U. Troutman until his retirement in June of 2023. 

He loved dirt track racing, Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles. 

Surviving is one sister Debra Chappell of Northumberland PA and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Sandra Lewis of Sunbury, PA and Eugene "Beaner" and Maribeth Lewis of Ruskin FL, numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. 

At the request of the family no services will be held.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are made by Blank Funeral Home.
