Anna E. (Bollinger) Culp

Anna E. Culp, 78, of Sunbury, PA  passed away at Nottingham in Northumberland on September 22, 2018.

She was born in Northumberland, PA on May 22, 1940 a daughter of late Clarence E. “Tip”and Lena  E (Fenton) Bollinger.

Anna married Luther B. Culp, Sr. on March 27, 1957. Her death ends a 61 year marriage. Nan attended Northumberland schools. She worked at Rea and Derrick, Laiglon, later David Knit garment factory, and later retired from Nottingham Nursing Home.  She was a Steelers fanatic!

Nan and her husband had five children; Luther B Culp Jr. and his wife Diane, LuAnn DeSantis and her partner Tim Patterson, Scott A. And his wife Tanna, and William E. Sr., and Frederick B. and his wife Michele. She was the MeMa of 13 grandchildren, great grandma to 12 children. She had many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Mother and Father in law Grace and William Pensyl, one brother, Clarence, Jr., and one sister, Doris Bettleyon, and Daughter in law Maria Culp.

Anna will greatly missed by her family and friends, and remembered for always being there for her children and grandchildren’s activities from sports, scouting, band, or whatever they took interest in, she always supported them to the fullest.

Friends and family may visit the David Zweier Funeral Home, Inc. 157 Chestnut St. Sunbury, PA on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from  9 until 11 am followed by a funeral service with Mr. Steven DeSantis officiating. Interment will follow at the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington, PA.
