Northumberland - Ann Hunt, 98, of Eighth Street passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Ann was born February 9, 1922 in Marion Heights a daughter of the late Michael and Katie (Talpasz) Sebasovich. On August 24, 1944 she married Chester C. Hunt in Rosedale, MD while he was on leave from the Navy. His passing in October of 2000 ended a loving relationship of 56 years.
She worked at an early age at the Salesky Hat Factory, during World War II she was employed with Mitchell Bomber in Baltimore, MD and later was a beautician for 12 years prior to retiring.
She will fondly be remembered for her love of crocheting, cooking and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She also loved music and the Big Band sound as well as dancing.
Ann is survived by her beloved son Ronald Hunt of Northumberland and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brothers John, Walter, Joseph, Stephen, Michael and Peter Sebasovich and sisters Mary Bodnar, Victoria Bycoskie, Dorothy Heim Smith and Olga Boyer.
A private graveside service be held in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg with Father Fred Wangwe officiating.
Arrangements are by the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland.
