Ann M. Hausch, 98, at her residence in Northumberland, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Walter R. Hausch, in January 2001. She grew up in Lafayette IN, the daughter of the late Guy G. and Mary McKinniss, the last survivor of eight children.
Ann graduated from Jefferson High School and Purdue University. She taught for decades in several fields and was loved by her students. Ann and Walter were blessed with four daughters whom they loved dearly. They lived in Akron OH but toured 40+ states together! In retirement they enjoyed international travel. She had a great sense of humor and spirit of adventure which led her to try many things such as riding in a helicopter and feeding a wild prairie dog. Ann was gifted in arts and crafts and used her talents generously.
Ann had saving faith in Jesus which was nurtured in herself and others through church membership and service everywhere she lived. She loved the Bible, Christian books, teaching Bible classes, and listening to Christian radio.
Ann is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Pat (Michael) Pearson and Mary Hausch (Bob Coffin) all of Las Vegas, Marti (Bill) Geise of Northumberland, and Cathy (Tom) Clark of Maysville KY. Also surviving are her grandchildren: David (Amanda) Pearson, Melissa Geise, Mary Catherine (Matt) Watson, Sarah (Tyler) McDonald, and Anna Coffin, as well as five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
