Amanda C. Hoover, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, at her home.

Born on Aug. 14, 2001, in Phoenixville, Amanda was the daughter of James Hoover and Rebecca LeMay, stepdaughter of Cynthia Macauley.

She was a 2019 graduate of Mifflinburg High School, earned her associates degree from Cazenovia College and later received her bachelor's degree from Arcadia University.

Amanda was a talented artist with a love of poetry. She had a quick wit and loved to travel and attend live comedy shows.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her 5 brothers, James Hoover, Joseph Kirschenbaum, Russell Matthews, Vincent Kirschenbaum and Jeremy Morton; and her maternal grandfather, Daniel LeMay.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Patricia Conrad Hoover Phifer, and her maternal grandmother, Barbara LeMay.

Services will be private.

Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury.
