Sunbury - Alec J. Litchard, 11, of Klinger Road, passed away Thursday, November 14th at home.

Alec was born January 27, 2013, in Danville the son of Brent A. and Janelle L. Litchard.

He was a 6th grader at Shikellamy Middle School, Sunbury.

Alec was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Northumberland.

He was also a member of the Shikellamy Youth Football Program and the Shik Acorn Baseball League.

Alec enjoyed 4 Wheeling, playing baseball, football and Fortnite, and vacations in Cape May New Jersey with his family.  He loved the Dallas Cowboys and was able to watch a game in Texas at AT&T Stadium through Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Alec also loved his friends and family and always enjoyed spending time with them.

His presence was always known, he was a talker and always entertaining, he lit up the room.  

In addition to his parents, Alec is survived by paternal grandparents Kevin and Denise Litchard, Maternal grandparents Sherry and Gary Haycock, maternal great grandmother Janet Miller, uncle Andrew and Taylor Litchard, aunts Braie Haycock and Brianne Caiazzo, cousin, Bryce Litchard, Blake, Brayden and Brooke Caiazzo, his boxer Zeke and his hamster Peanut.

He was preceded in death by his uncle Brent Caiazzo, great grandfather Duane Miller and Great Grandmother Lois Reed.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, November 19th 5:00-7:00pm, and again Wednesday, November 20th from 10:00am-11:45am at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at Noon with Rev. Karla Leiby officiating.

Interment will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
