Hughesville – Faye E. Brooks, 79, a resident of Wolf Run Village and former resident of Northumberland and Sunbury passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in the Muncy Valley Hospital.
Faye was born March 5, 1939 in Shamokin, a daughter of the late Harold Forest and Grace Elizabeth (Carter) Brown.  November 22, 1957 she married Hubert G. “Boots” Brooks who preceded her in death May 19, 2006.
She was a 1957 graduate of Sunbury High School where she was head majorette and fire twirler.
Faye worked for various local businesses while raising her family.
She was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing with her husband.  She was a member of the Sunbury Community Hospital Senior Circle, a Girl Scouts den mother and a member of the YMCA where she enjoyed swimming.
Faye is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David A.  Brooks and Kathleen Radspinner of Hughesville, her daughter  and son-in-law Crystal B. and Tony J. Maccari of Elkton, MD, grandchildren Anthony Maccari and wife Sam and Christopher Maccari, step grandchildren Suzanne(Chris) Holmes, Richard(Jill) Warg and Shawn(Shelly) Warg, great greatgrandchild Jakob, step great-great-grandchildren  Charly, Kendall, Johnathan and Joshua, niece Bambi Carroll and nephews Brian and Chip Shade.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her sister Judith L. Shade.
Friends and family may visit at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Saturday March 2 from 10-11 am with the funeral service following at 11am with Pastor Mark Gittens officiating.
Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
The family would like to thank the Wolf Run Village staff for their excellent care.
