Northumberland - Ethelmae D. Yoxheimer, 86 of King Street passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Nottingham Village.
She was born July 31, 1932 in Sunbury a daughter of the late Robert and Ethel (Bell) Donmoyer. On December 23, 1957 she married Ronald E. Yoxheimer who survives.
Ethelmae was a 1950 graduate of Sunbury High School, obtained her Registered Nursing Degree from Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia and earned certification as a nurse anesthetist in York.
She was employed with various hospitals as a nurse anesthetist and retired in 1992 from Public Health.
Mrs. Yoxheimer served as Past Worthy Matron of the Priestley Chapter #423 Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem, where she played the organ.  As a talented organist, Ethelmae, played the organ for the various local Episcopal Churches and was a member of the "Not So Primetime Singers" who performed at nursing homes and other venues. She also had a talent for arts and crafts.
She was baptized and was a life member at St. Matthew Episcopal Church, Sunbury.
In addition to her husband of 61 years, Ethelmae is survived by, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Stephen E. and Donna Yoxheimer of Woodland Park, CO, Michael T. Yoxheimer, Northumberland, Eric C. and Diane Yoxheimer, Hummelstown, one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy M. and David Kamsler of Gettysburg, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by; one grandson, three brothers and one sister.

Friends and family may visit from 11:00am to noon, Saturday at St. Matthew Episcopal Church where funeral services will begin at noon with The Rev.'d Robin Jarrell officiating.
Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland.

Arrangements are by the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland.
