Northumberland - Dorothy L. Frehafer, 78 passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at Nottingham Village where she was a resident.
Dorothy was born August 18, 1940 in Selinsgrove a daughter of the late Howard and Eva (Kessler) Reeder.  On January 28, 1961 she married Charles R. Frehafer who preceded her in death on January 7, 2010.
She was a 1959 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.  Dorothy was employed as an assembler at Wilson Manufacturing and later operated the Kiddie Whip at Knoebels Grove.
She enjoyed putting together puzzles, solving crossword puzzles and playing bingo with her friends at Nottingham. She was an avid fan of Penn State Football and enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City.  Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was a long-time member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Selinsgrove.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy A. and Michael A. Dressler, Sr. of Northumberland, Dorothy L. and Todd H. Cox of Selinsgrove, one son, Charles R. Frehafer, Jr. of Milton, six grandchildren and spouses, Stephanie and Rob Moyer, Jeremy and Stacey Ahearn, Christina Ferrucci, Thomas and Natasia Propst, Brittany Stettler and Michael Dressler, Jr., eleven great-grandchildren, Jaylen, Alivia, Bella, Kaitlyn, Mason, McKenna, Meisha, Layla, Kyleigh, Vanessa and Jaymasyn, one brother and sister-in-law, James and Peggy Reeder of Liverpool and one sister, Patricia Chappell of Watsontown.

In addition to her parents and husband of 50 years, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Charles Chappell.

Friends and family may call from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King Street, Northumberland.

Interment will be private in Riverview Cemetery.
