Selinsgrove – Betty L. Kauffman, 88 of Pine Lane passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Manor at Penn Village.
Betty was born April 23, 1930 at home on Blue Hill a daughter of the late Clyde M.  and Isabelle M. (Heider) Slear.
She was a 1948 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.
She was employed at the Selinsgrove Center as a supervisor and retired in 1991 after more than 30 years of dedicated service.
Mrs. Kauffman was a loyal member of Christ Community United Methodist Church, Selinsgrove where she was proud to be involved with the Agape Sunday School Class.
Betty was a member of the Eastern Star and had recently received her 50 year membership pin.
She enjoyed traveling, doing various crafts and was a talented piano player. Her greatest joy came from her many visits to family, friends and shut-ins.
Betty is survived by three grandchildren, Janeen L. Brosius of Selinsgrove, Jason C. and Paula J. Brosius of Mifflinburg, Joshua W. Fegley of Selinsgrove, her step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, Ashley Delawder, Myia and Dakota Brosius and her step-great-grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Donald Foltz of Selinsgrove, their children, Deborah, Donna and Craig and niece, Cathy, her step-children, Donna and Sam Webb of Norfolk, VA, Karen and Tom Burkett of AZ, Terry and Judy Kauffman of Northumberland, numerous cousins and two very special friends, Ali Clark and Shirley Varner.
In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by husbands, Curtis Weaver, Raymond Weaver and Ray Kauffman, daughter, Dianna (Weaver) Brosius Fegley on Sept. 28, 2004 and step-son, Lonnie Weaver.
Friends and family may visit from 10:00am to 11:00am Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 3939 Park Road, Selinsgrove where a memorial service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Randall G. Bennett, Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
Contributions in Betty’s memory may be made to Christ Community United Methodist Church, Building Fund 3939 Park Road, Selinsgrove, PA 17870 or to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
