Judy M. Scholl, 83, Lower Augusta Township
Judy M (Sites) Scholl was born Aug. 23, 1940, in Fishers Ferry, Pa., Lower Augusta Township, and on April 4, 2024, while surrounded by her family at the farm, she left their loving presence and entered into the loving presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She married Robert Roy Ruhl in January 1956 who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her mother Dorothy E. Sweezy Sites; daughter Karen L. Long (Rick) and grandson Zachariah W Long.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Edward E. Scholl; brother Gary E. Sites (Sandy); children Vicki M. (Ruhl) Southwick, Penny L. Myers, Joni L. Scholl, and Edward E. Scholl Jr (Linda); six grandchildren, Michael McCaffrie (Tina), Mandy Dietrich (Danny), Jesse Scholl (Tiffanie), Joshua Scholl (Heidi), Elizabeth Bickel and Kevin Bickel; six great-grandchildren, Myah Dietrich, Ruger Scholl, Alexa Scholl, Beckett Scholl, Piper Scholl and Laney Scholl, and many nieces and nephews.
Judy enjoyed serving at Faith United Methodist Church as a trustee, quilting/sewing group and serving meals. She enjoyed her walks with friends and neighbors. Judy was a lover of animals of all kinds but her passion from childhood has always been horses. She enjoyed trail riding, attending shows, grooming, mucking stalls and just being in the barn.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Faith United Methodist Church, 203 Arch Street, Sunbury. Visitation will be held from 2-4 with a celebration of life at 4 p.m. A meal will follow.
